  For me, this painting is not merely an exploration of the male form or space; it is the capture of a moment that I experience intensely as an artist. I have titled it Searching for the Muse. I spent a month working on this piece, channeling into it the exact state of standing before a void, waiting for the first spark of inspiration.

The figure on the canvas is myself. I am leaning against an empty frame in a gesture that, to me, represents quiet anticipation and a surrender to the process. It is not a void that frightens me, but a space that I hope will soon be filled with something new. It is that other, invisible world with which every creator maintains an inner dialogue.

I sought to create an atmosphere of both stillness and tension through the contrast between the rich red of the fabric and the deep darkness surrounding me. I dedicate this painting to all artists who know those moments when time stands still, and you simply wait with patience for the muse to finally arrive.

  Tento obraz pro mě není jen hledání mužského těla nebo prostoru, je to zachycení momentu, který jako umělec prožívám velmi intenzivně. Nazval jsem ho Hledání múzy. Strávil jsem nad ním měsíc práce a promítl jsem do něj přesně ten stav, kdy stojíte před prázdnem a čekáte na první záblesk inspirace.

Na plátně jsem já sám. Opírám se o prázdný rám v gestu, které pro mě znamená tiché očekávání a odevzdání se procesu. Není to prázdnota, která by mě děsila, ale prostor, který doufám, že se brzy naplní něčím novým. Je to ten druhý, neviditelný svět, se kterým každý tvůrce vede svůj vnitřní dialog.

Snažil jsem se, aby kontrast mezi sytou červení látky a hlubokou tmou kolem mě vytvořil atmosféru klidu i napětí zároveň. Tento obraz věnuji všem umělcům, kteří znají ty chvíle, kdy se čas zastaví a vy jen trpělivě čekáte, až múza konečně přijde.
