My artistic practice is the result of many years of disciplined work that began with drawing and gradually evolved into realistic painting built on detail, light, and the expressive possibilities of acrylic as a medium. Although the subjects of my works continually change, the way I approach them remains the same.

Every work begins with an idea that forms its true foundation. From the very first decision to the final detail, it determines the direction of the entire creative process. This internal coherence is a defining characteristic of my artistic practice. As a result, each painting emerges not as a collection of individual elements, but as a carefully considered whole in which every detail has its place. I approach every subject with a sense of distance, seeking connections that are not immediately apparent. I then translate these into the final form of the painting, leaving space for the viewer's own interpretation. The visual language of my work is naturally shaped by the principles of Baroque chiaroscuro, particularly in its use of light. Whenever the nature of the subject allows, I choose the male figure as its natural bearer. Its anatomy, strength, and dynamism enable me to capture the tension between these opposing forces and give them a tangible, human form.

An integral part of this approach is a distinctive textured frame that forms part of the canvas itself. Rather than serving as a decorative addition, it is an inseparable element of the artwork. The combination of black and gold is fundamental to my visual language, naturally unifying the motif and the frame into a single whole while allowing the painting itself to remain the focus.

In 2009, I graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Valašské Meziříčí, Czech Republic. Building on this foundation, years of independent practice gradually shaped the artistic language that defines my work today.

Moje tvorba je výsledkem dlouholeté disciplinované práce, která začala kresbou a postupně se rozvinula v realistickou malbu založenou na detailu, světle a možnostech akrylového média. Přestože se jednotlivé náměty proměňují, způsob, jakým k nim přistupuji, zůstává stejný.

Každé dílo začíná myšlenkou, která představuje jeho skutečný základ. Od prvního rozhodnutí až po poslední detail určuje směr celého tvůrčího procesu. Právě tato vnitřní soudržnost je charakteristickým rysem mé tvorby. Díky ní nevzniká obraz jako soubor jednotlivých prvků, ale jako promyšlený celek, v němž má každý detail své pevné místo. Ke každému námětu přistupuji s odstupem a hledám souvislosti, které nejsou na první pohled zřejmé. Ty následně promítám do výsledné podoby obrazu, která ponechává prostor pro vlastní interpretaci. Vizuální podobu děl přirozeně formují principy barokního temnosvitu, především způsob práce se světlem. Pokud to charakter příběhu dovoluje, volím jako jeho přirozeného nositele mužskou figuru. Její anatomie, síla a dynamika pohybu mi umožňují zachytit napětí těchto protikladů a dát jim hmatatelnou, lidskou podobu.

Součástí tohoto přístupu je i jedinečný strukturovaný rám, který je součástí samotného plátna. Není pouze dekorativním prvkem, ale nedílnou součástí obrazu. Kombinace černé a zlaté barvy je pro mě klíčová, protože přirozeně propojuje motiv s rámem do jednoho celku a ponechává vyniknout samotnému obrazu.

V roce 2009 jsem absolvoval Střední uměleckoprůmyslovou školu sklářskou ve Valašském Meziříčí. Na získané základy navázala dlouholetá vlastní praxe, během které se postupně zformoval rukopis, jenž dnes charakterizuje mou tvorbu.
